The southern part of Belgium. If the right-wing morrons ever get it so far we will lose this part, I am moving there. Highly underrated. And it is only 1,5 hour drive away. I should be training here more often. I saw a lot of excellent trails to run on, but we scheduled backpack trekking and sport climbing routes in Mozet and Hotton. Good preparation and an opportunity to increase stamina. Oh right, cows are cool. Too many to take to Atom Heart Mother picture though.
Mozet, slippery rocks so definitely a challenge. Early routes are always a bit scary and uncomfortable, but once you clipped into your first quickdraw you know it is going to be a good day to climb. 60m ropes out and enjoy the view. Hotton was less slippery and more fun to lead, but when the rain comes down, it pours.
It has been since the 20km from Brussels I have run. Damnit. Time is not on my side. Although our Run To The Hills team is in full force. Wishing Piek all the best with his 100k(!!) Nacht van Vlaanderen next week on Friday. Starting at 20:00pm, which means running all night long! Crazy stuff. Brotherhood support, I will be running with him from around 1am till 5am, should be good for 45k. I will send updates that night via Twitter.
I am putting my shoes on now. Believe in the run and listen to Danzig !

Ik ben al lang aan het peizen dat als ik uiteindelijk in Belgie blijf hangen, dat ik ook naar die kanten trek… Dan maak ik soep voor u als gij mijn gras afdoet, of andersom!
