I am looking back at a great and eventful 2011, lots of adventures, summits and dissapointments, unexpected changes, breaking personal records and meeting a lot of interesting people. Wish you all the best for 2012, and thanks to all my followers and readers.
If I had to pick 1 picture as my favorite one of 2011, I would probably choose this one – high and dry on the Island Peak highcamp at 5600m in the Nepalese Himalayas, the night before the summit push. The left tent is mine, I didn’t sleep a minute.
